In the Community
AET Group is involved with the communities in which we work and live. Since our beginnings over two decades ago, AET Group has been a well-respected member of the business and local community.
Our people are passionate about the communities in which they work and live. We are proud to support our community through internal programs, donations, participation and volunteering on community initiatives, events, associations and committees, that have both a positive social and environmental impact on the communities in which we operate.
Impactful Projects
Movember Campaign
2023 marked AET’s 15th consecutive year supporting the Movember Foundation, a leading charity changing the face of men’s health by raising funds for research and awareness to combat men’s health issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. To date, AET has raised over $60,000 towards the campaign and we hope to continue our support for years to come.
Waterloo Wellington Children’s Groundwater Festival
AET is proud to be a long-time supporter of the Waterloo Wellington’s Groundwater Festival. For over 10 years, AET has been an annual sponsor and staff have volunteered to help inspire the next generation of water conscious students in the Waterloo Region community.
1% For the Trees
AET is committed to being green and giving back to the community. Through our 1% For the Trees program, AET has planted 11,979 trees across Canada to help absorb greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, recycle water, create shade, and provide food and homes for wildlife. The simple act of planting trees helps sustain our communities and the environment in countless ways.
