AET Group Inc. Supports Movember Initiatives For The 9th Consecutive Year

It was another successful year in the books for our Mo Bros and Mo Sistas as we grew our moustaches, made moves, and fundraised to help change the face of men’s health! We are extremely proud to announce that after the month-long challenge, we moved over 200km and raised $5,270 towards funding research and raising awareness to help combat men’s health issues.

The Movember Foundation is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. They help raise funds for research and health innovation addressing men’s biggest health issues, including Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, and Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. Cancer and mental health are two of the most widespread conditions affecting people across the globe and we are especially affected by this as our own Director of Operations, Larry Freiburger, was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016. He is now cancer free thanks to foundations like Movember that help fund the research and technology development to combat cancer.[1]

Sustainability and environmental awareness are largely what we focus on at AET, but we also aim to make a difference in the world through community support and involvement in organizations that align with our vision. To date, AET has raised $28, 874 towards the Movember Foundation and we are excited to continue the tradition next year and hope to raise even more awareness and funding to help this wonderful cause!
