Location: Ontario Canada
Client: Libro Credit Union
Date: 2017
One of the most socially responsible organizations in Ontario, Libro Credit Union is a consistent and dedicated supporter of community initiatives through monetary contributions and extensive volunteerism of Libro employees. Libro is now embarking on a journey to begin actively managing the environmental pillar of their sustainability profile. AET Group was contracted by Libro to determine the environmental impact of Libro’s facilities, including energy and water consumption, waste generation, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
AET Group conducted site visits to a sample of Libro office and branch facilities where walk-through energy and water assessments and waste characterization audits were performed. AET Group identified a number of recommendations for Libro to consider in the interest of reducing the organization’s environmental impact. The recommendations were prioritized based on a number of criteria including implementation cost and environmental impact.
