Indoor Air Quality Assessment
Location: Ontario
Client: Public Works and Government Services Canda
Date: 2018 – 2019
AET conducted an Indoor Air Quality Mould Assessment at the Laboratory for Foodborne Zoonoses, for Public Works and Government Services Canada. The assessment was completed to confirm air quality after a leak took place through the building’s outer curtain wall onto the interior floor slab. The purpose of the assessment was to ensure that water damage had not resulted in impacts to air quality. The indoor air quality mould assessment consisted of conducting sampling in the affected areas as well as background location to assess: temperature, humidity, moisture and the presence or absence of mold. AET conducted a comprehensive airborne bioaerosol mold/fungal testing program based on protocols defined in the Alberta Health Services (AHS) Fungal Air Testing Requirements which, in turn, are based on protocols from Health Canada and the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
