MarcAngelo Foods is a producer of premium pork and beef products in the North American market. AET Group was part of a team that developed MarcAngelo’s corporate sustainability plan, which included environmental assessments (energy consumption, water consumption, waste generation) of the company’s six manufacturing facilities, benchmarking against the company’s competitors, preparation of a supplier sustainability questionnaire, and development of a corporate sustainability code of conduct. AET Group’s specific role in the project was to serve as project manager to ensure tasks were accomplished on-time and within the allocated budget. AET Group also led the development of MarcAngelo’s base year corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory.
The sustainability plan provided MarcAngelo with a path to increased efficiency while meeting the growing demands of stakeholders.
