Katherine’s experiences inspired her to explore the significant and misunderstood impacts of climate change in our world, motivating her to actively contribute to be a part of the solution.

Katherine Rog is Manager, GHG and Sustainability at AET Group (AET). Katherine plays a vital role in leading independent third-party greenhouse gas (“GHG”) verifications and validations and quantifying GHG inventories (scope 1, 2 and 3) in multiple sectors, including energy, waste management, agriculture, and manufacturing. She supports net-zero/decarbonization strategy and implementation projects, ESG reporting, and sustainability planning and disclosure (CDP, EcoVadis).

Katherine holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph. Before beginning her journey with AET, Katherine worked as an Environmental Specialist in automotive manufacturing, Project Coordinator in municipal government and as a GHG analyst.

Katherine has training in ISO 14064-3 and Canadian Environmental Legislation.
