William Baird is the Waste Audit Manager at AET Group (AET). As a valuable leader of AET’s Waste Services, William has over 12 years experience managing, coordinating and leading solid waste studies and developing waste management programs for all levels of government and IC&I sectors including: waste composition and characterization audits,  inbound and recovery rate audits at Material Recovery Facilities (MRF’s), new program pilot studies, waste reduction programs, waste monitoring and inspections, and waste assessments and analysis. He has completed hundreds of waste projects across Canada and the United States.  William holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Ecology and Evolution from Western University and completed a post-graduate diploma in Environmental Control from Sheridan College.

William enjoys camping, canoeing, and fishing. He is a sports enthusiast. He plays softball, hockey and enjoys disc golf. He enjoys reading about the natural environment and the interactions it has with human populations and industry.
